Rift Daemons
The Rift Daemons are a faction from the Age of Fantasy universe.
Background Story
Rift Daemons are monstrous servants of the havoc gods which lurk beneath the surface of Tyria. Depending on the havoc god they pledge allegiance to their form changes, ranging from small and annoying plague swarms to the massive and brutal brass beast riders.
The daemons of war are extremely aggressive and rely on brute force; the daemons of change are extremely tough with a constantly regenerating form; the daemons of plague are putrid and have highly toxic weapons; and finally the daemons of lust are lightning fast and unleash flurries of deadly attacks.
Since the beginning of time daemons used to roam the earth and terrorize any being they came across, until one day a mighty human king trapped the havoc gods in a magical orb and banished all daemons underground. There they waited patiently for the return of their masters, itching to go back to the surface and spread chaos again.
Now that the havoc gods are back and the great rift has opened the daemons are happy to be free again.
Daemons
Daemons of War are extremely aggressive and focus on melee combat. All they want is to get into the enemy’s face and stomp them to the ground. Magic only hinders them from getting to their target, so you wont find any spell casters among them.
Daemons of Change are strong magic users, that they use both defensively and offensively to devastating effect, their physical form is quite weak compared to the other Daemons.
Daemons of Plague "cursed" with rot and disease these putrid creatures shamble along the battlefield towards their targets, soaking up arrows and bullets alike.
Daemons of Lust quick and mobile these Daemons dart around the battlefield to unleash a fury of attacks before dashing away to another target.
