Grimdark Future: Warfleets
Species: Human
Version: v3.1.0

Why Play Havoc Brothers

Heroes

  • Champion's Throne: This ship gets an 18" bubble. Enemies within it suffer -1 to morale while allies get +1 to morale.
  • Rift Master: Once per game after activation, this ship can deploy a Rift marker anywhere within 3" of it. Friendly ships within 4" of this Rift count as being within your DZ for the sake of the Rift Scanner and Rift Rush rules.

Titles

  • Change Disciple: Enemies can only target this ship if they're within 12" of it.
  • Lust Disciple: This ship can pivot 45° whenever Cruising or Ramming.
  • Plague Disciple: This ship ignores 1 damage every turn. Not a lot, but it can soak up lighter ships.
  • War Disciple: Whenever this ship overlaps, it deals +1 Damage and takes +1 Damage.

Systems

  • Corruption Spreader: So long as this ship is within terrain, that terrain counts as Dangerous. Good idea for baiting cover or difficult terrain.
  • Fulgent Huntsmen: If this ship has a boarding marker, it actually recovers some damage.
  • Lightning Drive: Instead of pivoting, this ship can shift 2" to the side. Mildly useful if you need to get past a certain obstacle.
  • Loose Bindings: When this ship is activated, it can place 2 boarding tokens on it as its crew goes riotous. This does, however, grant this ship +1 to hit.
  • Nemesis Evader: This ship counts as being +6" away from all enemies if you want some of Change Disciple's perks and you already used it.
  • Rift Scanner: This ship can start the game in reserves, but it can deploy within 4" of your DZ at any other turn.

Weapons

  • Baryon Gun: A powerful short-ranged Anti-Squadron gun.
  • Causality Inverter: One shot, but it always hits on a 2+ and Str3 makes it punch through most armor.
  • Cluster Bombs: Short-ranged but it's got Split Fire and Blast to cover multiple foes.
  • Distortion Cannon: Short-ranged cannon that drops Boarding markers for each damage taken.
  • Lightning Oars: A decently-powered set of Broadsides with Anti-Ship as well as the ability to fire after Cruising, making this especially handy for heavy ships.
  • Rattler: Short-ranged but lots of shots to punch holes.
  • Reality Wound: One shot, but it hits anyone anywhere within 6", regardless of facing.
  • Spinal Spiral: A high-powered Sniper cannon, but it can only be used on the front arc.
