Below you will find quickplay armies for the Machine Cult from the Grimdark Future universe.

Note: as v2.50 is in constant development the following might not be accurate.

Combat Patrol Adeptus Mechanicus (1000pts)

This is a v3.1.0 list you can build using one Combat Patrol: Adeptus Mechanicus box from Games Workshop, or any other models of your choice.

Yeah we're using the tank as an Iron Walker. Too expensive otherwise, 12 wounds is unfun at this point level, and it looks just fine.

Lot of the rest of this hinges on your caster - they're sturdy but probably not sturdy enough to run on their own. This army has fairly low volume of fire, so you may find yourself relying on Machine Terror for dealing with anything numerous. Steel Body and Lock-On are probably the best of the other spells.

Also, your Rangers are almost definitely going to be dead at the end of round 2 or middle of round 3. There's just not much in the box, honestly.

Machine Cult Army Spells:
Lock-On (1): Target friendly unit within 6" gets AP(+1) next time it shoots.
Solar Beam (1): Target enemy model within 12" takes 1 hit with AP(4).
Steel Body (2): Target 2 friendly units within 12" get +1 to defense rolls next time they take hits.
Shrapnel (2): Target 2 enemy units within 12" take 2 hits with AP(1) each.
Corroded Metal (3): Target 2 enemy units within 18" get -1 to hit rolls next time they shoot.
Machine Terror (3): Target 2 enemy units within 9" take 6 hits each.
