Rebel Guerillas (1000 Points)
This is a v3.4.0 Battle-scale list you can build using the Mazon Labs Strike Force box from 'Mantic Games', or any other models of your choice.
Rebel Guerrillas are an interesting faction, with similar unit choices to HDF with plenty of ranged infantry, while sacrificing access to heavy vehicles and artillery to instead have a decent selection of light and heavy melee units. This list takes advantage of the Striker melee infantry to act as a large blob unit to advance up the board while supported by a unit of Elites with a Minigun. I recommend attaching the Rebel Leader with Guerrilla tactics to this Elite squad to help move the Strikers up the board quickly. Next, your next Elite squad is heavy armed with high AP weapons, and should be deployed inside the Dropship so they can be dropped in range of enemy heavy infantry or tank units to take them out, while the Dropship provides fire support. Finally, the Rebel Leader Psy-Monk has access to the spell list, and can be attached to any squad of your choice and can adapt to any situation thanks to the versatile Rebel Guerrillas spells.

Foresight (1): Target friendly unit within 12" gets +1 to hit rolls next time it shoots. Flame Breath (1): Target enemy unit within 12" takes 2 hits with AP(2). Protective Dome (2): Target 3 friendly units within 12" get Stealth next time they are shot at. Expel (2): Target enemy unit within 12" takes 1 hit with AP(4) and Deadly(3). Psychic Speed (3): Target 2 friendly units within 12" move +3" next time they Advance, or +6" next time they Rush/Charge. Tempest (3): Target enemy unit within 18” takes 1 hit with Blast(12). |
